MIXED DENTITION

I found this young girl of 15years old at Anambra State during one of my Dental health outreach, she was having mixed dentition at the upper anterior. According to her mother she has been seeking help of how to solve the problem as the girl was always ridiculed by her classmates in school.
   In-case you discover this kind of thing in your children don't panic. It is a growth of both primary and secondary teeth together. This could lead to malocclusion of the teeth because the primary teeth is actually blocking the secondary teeth from growing properly. This condition can be corrected by simply extracting the primary teeth while with time the secondary teeth can now grow properly. But the patient can be taking to orthodontics for effective treatment.
